IT Administrator (m/w/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of hardware and software requirements and their procurement
  • Error analysis in case of hardware and software malfunctions, if necessary with the support of the manufacturers
  • Administration, maintenance and planning of virtualization environments, storage systems, firewalls, switches, Windows and Linux-based server systems, etc.
  • Creation of concepts for the optimization of the IT system landscape
  • Technical support of the responsible departments in the elimination of problems in local IT systems
  • Contact person for the management and departments in all IT relevant topics
  • Selection and coordination of external service providers and controlling of the IT services provided
  • Ongoing documentation of the IT landscape

Qualifications:

  • Completed training in the IT fields or a corresponding further training or more than 2 years of professional experience in the IT field
  • Knowledge in the area of Windows Server 2016-2019, Windows 10 as well as basic knowledge in Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Experience in backup, data recovery, firewall and virtualization environments such as VMWare
  • Strong service orientation and enjoying working in an analytical and structured manner
  • Experience with ISO documentation is an advantage
